TI-84 Calculator Online – Free Graphing Calculator
Graph functions, check homework, and practise TI-84 steps in your browser.
No download. No sign-up. Works on phone, laptop, and Chromebook.
Real TI-84 Plus CE style keypad: press 2nd for the blue functions (CALC, TABLE, √, π) and ALPHA for letters. Plus MATH, Matrix and full STAT. Ahead of competitors: the calculator loads right on the homepage, no ads, click-to-read points and worked examples on the same page. TI-BASIC programming arrives in a later phase.
How to use it in 4 steps
- Type your function next to Y1: for example X^2-4. Use the X key for the variable.
- Press GRAPH: the curve appears. If it does not fit, press ZStandard or ZoomFit.
- Click the graph: the readout shows the exact x and Y1 value at that point (like TRACE).
- Home screen: type any expression (12*8, sin(30)) and press ENTER for a quick answer.
Two problems, solved step by step
Example 1: Solve x^2 - 2x - 8 = 0
Graph Y1 = x^2-2x-8. The curve crosses the x-axis twice. Read the crossing points from the graph: x = -2 and x = 4. On a real TI-84 you would press 2nd, TRACE, 2: zero to get the same answers.
Example 2: Where do y = 2x + 1 and y = -x + 7 meet?
Graph both lines (use the example button above). They cross at x = 2, y = 5. On a real TI-84 you would press 2nd, TRACE, 5: intersect.
What this calculator does
Graphing
Plot up to six functions at once, zoom, fit the window, and read points by clicking the graph.
Scientific
Trig, log, ln, roots, powers, fractions as decimals, pi and e — all from the keypad.
Same steps as class
The Y=, GRAPH, and window workflow matches the TI-84, so class steps transfer directly.
Statistics, MATH & Matrix
1-Var and 2-Var Stats, LinReg, QuadReg, zero, minimum, maximum and intersect, TABLE, plus MATH (fractions, fMin/fMax, derivative, integral) and 2×2 Matrix — just like the handheld, and easier.

Frequently asked questions
Is this TI-84 calculator online free?
Yes. No download, no account, no trial period.
Can I use an online TI-84 on the SAT, ACT, or AP exams?
No. Phones, laptops, and internet-connected devices are banned in proctored exams. Use this tool to practise before test day, and bring a physical handheld into the exam room.
Does it work on a phone or Chromebook?
Yes. It runs in any modern browser on Windows, macOS, Chromebook, Android, and iPhone, with nothing to install.
Is this an official Texas Instruments calculator?
No. This is an independent tool and is not made, sponsored, or endorsed by Texas Instruments. It follows the TI-84 workflow so the steps you learn in class work here too.
Is it better than Desmos?
They solve different problems. Desmos draws graphs quickly. A TI-84 style calculator is better when your class, textbook, or exam prep is built around TI-84 steps.
